Trauma can change how you see yourself, other people, and the world. Many people seek therapy not because they want to talk indefinitely, but because they want relief, clarity, and a path forward.
My practice is centered around Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)—a structured, research-supported treatment for trauma that is designed to help people reduce distress and regain a sense of agency in a defined period of time.
I also maintain a limited number of insurance-based therapy slots for clients seeking ongoing care.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
CPT is a focused, evidence-based treatment for trauma and PTSD. It helps people identify and change unhelpful beliefs connected to traumatic experiences and supports meaningful recovery without requiring open-ended therapy.
The CPT program I offer:
Is structured and time-limited
Typically consists of 12 weekly sessions
Is delivered via secure telehealth or in-person in Tacoma, WA
Is offered outside of insurance
This option is a good fit for people who want a clear treatment plan, are ready to engage actively in the work, and prefer structure over ambiguity.
Insurance-Based Therapy (Limited Availability)
I also offer ongoing psychotherapy for a limited number of clients who wish to use insurance.
Please note:
Insurance availability is limited
I currently accept Optum and Premera
This option is separate from the CPT program
This may be a good fit if you are seeking ongoing therapy rather than a structured trauma treatment program.
I work with adolescents and adults navigating:
Trauma and PTSD Childhood or complex trauma Grief and loss Anxiety related to trauma Adjustment to major life changes
My approach is direct, thoughtful, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I value clarity, collaboration, and sustainability—for both clients and clinician.
Telehealth & Licensure
I provide telehealth services to clients located in PsyPact-participating states, which allows me to work with individuals across multiple states, not just where I am physically located.
Training & Consultation
In addition to clinical work, I provide training and consultation to organizations on:
evidence-based, sustainable approaches to supporting people in distress
