A Structured, Time-Limited Approach to Trauma Treatment
I offer Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) as a focused, evidence-based treatment for trauma. CPT is designed to help people reduce trauma-related distress by identifying and changing unhelpful beliefs connected to traumatic experiences.
This program is intentionally structured and time-limited. It is for people who want a clear treatment plan and are ready to engage actively in the work of recovery. We’ll take time to determine together whether CPT is the right fit before beginning.
Who This Program Is For This program may be a good fit if you:
Have experienced trauma and are noticing ongoing distress, avoidance, work or relational difficulties, and/or changes in how you see yourself or the world
Want an evidence-based treatment with a clear beginning, middle, and end
Prefer a structured, skills-based approach rather than open-ended therapy
Are able to commit to weekly sessions for a defined period of time
Who This Program May Not Be a Fit For This program may not be the best fit if you:
Are seeking open-ended, exploratory therapy without a specific treatment focus
Are not able to attend sessions consistently
Need a higher level of care or crisis-based support
If CPT is not the right fit, I may be able to help you think about other options or referrals.
